A SPORTS CAN CHAPTER IS BORN!
A dream has come true! I am very happy to report that we received overwhelming approval from the BCCA Board on Saturday in Pittsburgh at the CANvention, and the Board approved the new Sports Can Chapter. Everyone give a big welcome and congratulation to Marc Austin, who is the President of this exciting new Chapter.

Hello all SPORTS CAN Collectors!! Just letting you know that the BCCA Board of Directors approved the birth of the Sports Can At-Large Chapter. Congrats to all!! What a nice show in Pittsburgh! Thanks for all your help to date.
Welcome to the initial 46 members!! I am sure this number will grow as we move forward. Now for the introductions -- I am the President; Kevin McCabe from Virginia is the first Vice President; and Larry Sampson from Canada is the second Vice President. Our imaginations are the limit to what this can be! We have members from countries including the US, Canada, Brazil and Japan. We will be using this great web site as our communication device, as we will be the first internet-based chapter in the BCCA!
Dues for this chapter will be $5 per year starting January 1, 2004 (this is what was decided at our meeting in Pittsburgh). Don't send money right now. I will be contacting all the people who showed interest in the next few weeks once I get some things organized. Much more to come and please send me your ideas as we can make this really great as a team!! Please contact me at mmfaustin@aol.com
